I always thought the Sophie la Girafe teether was pretty cute! I’d seen a few other mums with them and I’d heard good things about them so I was keen to try the chewable giraffe out with Kory.
The giraffes are made out of 100% natural rubber and painted with non-toxic food-grade paint so are completely safe for your babies. The rubber texture, the soft colours and the squeaky noise also means they are stimulating to babies senses.
I bought the teether for Kory quite early on so he hadn’t actually got round to using it for quite a while until he eventually started teething. When this time came, offering Kory the Sophie la Girafe teether allowed him to trade gnawing on his hand for chewing on the teether. He was able to hold the giraffe and bring it up to his mouth by himself and he liked that the teether squeaked too!
Sophie la Girafe teethers are available from most baby stores. We bought ours from mamas and papas.
