I enjoy making my own baby food for Kory but when I’m on the go, I don’t always have time to whip something up.
Here are (in my opinion) the best store bought baby foods:
- Mamia (Aldi)
Mamia fruit pouches from Aldi were the perfect starter foods for Kory! These are made for babies from 4 months, they’re organic and at just 59p a pouch, they’re pretty cheap too! Aldi also sell a few bebivita baby food jars, these are for babies that are a bit older, I have tried Kory with them too, he seemed to like these also.
- Hipp Organic
The Hipp Organic baby food range is available from most supermarkets. It’s hard to keep nutrition a priority when you have a baby, you may find that you have to rely more on ready prepared food but don’t worry, hipp organics baby food jars are packed with organic fruit and vegetables so are great for when you are on the go but still want to make sure your little one is eating relatively healthy.
I haven’t tried much from the Organix range, I have only tried Kory with the Organix crisps, they make a great snack, he especially likes the carrot stick crisps. They claim to only use organic ingredients and have a ‘no junk’ promise. Maybe I will try Kory with other items from their weaning range in the future.
- Heinz for baby
Heinz baby promise to make their products as close to home as possible by using ingredients you’d find in your own kitchen at home. Heinz baby offer quite a large range of products, they have a variety of jars, pots and pouches to choose from.
I hope you enjoyed reading my list of the best store bought baby foods.
