Weaning tip

These baby food freezer cubes definitely came in handy when I first started weaning Kory. I could blend and freeze small portions of the foods that we made and ate and try them with Kory!

I would just like to state that I don’t think there’s anything wrong with store bought baby food jars, they’re convenient and there’s lots of them to choose from. I’ve used them myself, mainly when I’ve been out and about and Kory even seemed to like them. The idea behind these freezer cubes was just to try and get him used to what we eat at home.

Not to mention making your own baby food is a lot cheaper than buying jars!

I purchased these freezer cubes from a local shop, however they are available to buy from most places. I can’t remember how much they cost exactly but they weren’t expensive at all and I found them to be very helpful during our weaning journey.

I suppose you could even use an ice cube tray you already have at home if you wasn’t wanting to buy these!

Do you know of any other weaning tips? I would love to hear about them! Let me know in the comments…
